We are in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Interior Design Assistant to join us on a full-time basis, with potential part-time flexibility for students. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team working on multiple large-scale projects and leaving a lasting imprint on every space we touch.

Your Role in Our Design Journey

As an Interior Design Assistant at R. Nickson Interiors, you will play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into tangible realities. Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse and engaging, ensuring no two days are the same. You will:

  • Organize and Maintain Project Details: Handling project spreadsheets and binders will be key to ensuring our design projects are executed flawlessly.

  • Craft Compelling Presentations: Your ability to prepare presentations will help bring our design concepts to life, captivating our clients and collaborators.

  • Manage the Samples Library: You will be the go-to person for maintaining an organized and inspiring samples library, a cornerstone of our design process.

  • Participate in Site Visits and Run Vendor Errands: Being on-site and interacting with vendors will offer you real-world insights and hands-on experience in the field of interior design.

What We Are Looking For

Your skills and passion are what we value the most. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in space planning and a flair for interior design.

  • Is proficient in creating 2D floor plans using AutoCAD.

  • Boasts excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Shows strong organizational skills and pays meticulous attention to detail.

  • Holds a valid driver's license for site visits and errands.

  • Ideally has a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, though talent and enthusiasm are our primary criteria.
